I'm having problems with my windows or my window is smashed

There’s condensation in my window

It’s normal to have some condensation steam on your windows if you’ve just had a bath or a shower. Open the window to avoid damp. If you’re having any problems with damp or mould, click here.

If the condensation is inside the glass glazing panes, report a repair.

I’m struggling to open my window

If you’re having difficulty opening the window because the handle is stiff, tight, or stuck, try spraying the joint with WD40 lubricating oil. This should loosen the handle so it's easier to open and close.

When a window hasn't been opened for a while, the seal can sometimes stick to the frame. It might take a bit of extra effort to push the window open. Make sure you don’t push on the glass, just on the frame.

My window is smashed or cracked

If the glass is smashed and the property is not secure, you need to give us a call and we will come out as soon as possible to board up the window.

If the glass is cracked but still secure, we will visit to assess the damage and measure for a replacement if necessary. The initial visit will be to measure the size of the glass required then one of our operatives will come back to fit the window another time.

I haven’t got any window keys

If you’ve lost your window keys, you will have to replace them yourself.

If you’ve only just moved in and haven’t got any window keys, get in touch with our customer services team.
