There's a leak in my airing cupboard

The leaks coming from above the hot water cylinder (possibly from the loft)

This leak could be coming from the cold-water tank. You need to try to isolate this by turning off the brass stop tap or service valve, which should be above the cylinder. Once isolated, turn on the hot water taps, therefore draining the tank and potentially stopping the leak.

The leaks from the hot water cylinder or the pipework

You should try to isolate the leak by turning off the brass stop tap or service valve, which should be above the cylinder. Alternatively, the cylinder can also be isolated by turning off the red wheeled gate fully clockwise, turning off the water supply to the cylinder. However, the cylinder will still be full of water and may continue to leak.
