Reporting a repair for a garage

If you have an issue with a garage that was installed by us, you can report this issue using My Account, or by contacting our customer service team with the live chat function on our website, or by phone on 0300 456 2531. If you have any valuables in the garage, it is important to move them into your property until the door is repaired. 

It’s important to note that we cannot accept responsibility for any faults if you have not used us to install the garage door. For any repairs with garages that you installed without us you should contact a local mechanic or the company that installed the garage.

Buying a garage space

If you would like to enquire about purchasing a garage space, contact the development team directly by emailing them at

Renting a garage space

We are currently evaluating our stock of garages to let. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, or find out more information about a specific garage, please email the home choices team on

Terminating my rented garage

If you wish to terminate your letting of a garage, you need to give us verbal notice as soon as you can. You can only give verbal notice if you are the tenant, someone with authority on the account, or the tenants next of kin or social worker/care home manager.

To start the termination process, contact us with your garage address, the tenancy end date (detailed below), how you want to hand keys in, and any other contact information ready. Tenancy end date

All tenancies end on a Sunday, a customer service agent will confirm the end of tenancy date once you complete the tenancy termination form.

If you live in our Northern properties, the end of tenancy date will be 4 weeks after the date you gave your notice. Home choices will contact you directly to arrange the keys to be returned.

If you live in one of our Southern properties, the end of tenancy date will be 1 week after you gave your notice. You should either post or personally drop the keys off to Nene House, Sopwith Way, Drayton Fields Ind Est, Daventry, NN11 8PB.
