Who refills the grit bins when they are empty?

The grit bin will either be owned by Futures Housing Group or your local council. Check what it says on the plaque on the bin before contacting us, as we will not be able to refill bins owned by the council.

How do I report an empty grit bin?

If it is the council’s responsibility, you need to report it directly to them. To find your local council click here.

If the plaque says Futures, you can report it to us using My Account or contact us via Live Chat and let us know what street the grit bin is on so we can make sure we go to the right one.

How long will it take to refill them?

If we are responsible for the grit bins they will usually be refilled within 48 hours of the request.
