Damage to an internal door

We will come out to fix any issue regarding your internal door that relates to the handle, hinge, door closing mechanism or frame of internal and external doors. However, as this is not a safety risk, external doors will always be treated as higher priority.

Please note, we won’t attend to plane a door where new flooring or carpet has been laid. If your door isn’t closing smoothly, please contact a local joiner.

Damage to an external door

If your external doors have become damaged and aren’t opening or closing, or if your doors are letting in draughts, please contact us to make us aware of this. Make sure to mention if your property isn’t secure or if you can’t access the property.

If the issue with your door has been caused by vandalism or a break in, it is important to report this to the police first. Once reported to the police, give us the crime reference number so we can work in partnership with them.

Water is leaking through my door

If rainwater is entering your property from underneath your external door, you can usually fix it at home. Ensure the rubber seal at the base of the door is clean and clear of debris. If this is blocked, rain is likely to enter the property. A flat headed screwdriver should be used to clear the rubber seal along the base of the door. Also, ensure the drain holes are clear so rain can drain to the outside.

If your garage isn’t secure, please move any valuables apart from your car into another secure location.
